Soccer

From a different point of view I would have to say that coaching soccer is a way hardest job then actually playing the game. While your girls/boys are playing there is just so much that you want to tell them to do and to position themselves on the field but you can't do that cuz then you just become a crazy mad woman. It is hard to tell your girls when they are losing that its ok you'll do better the next time because you dont know that for sure. I am enjoying coaching the junoir soccer team for my school but it is definitaly not my strong point. I think that until I can play no more Then I will start to coach. Too stressful and theres so much you can teach but the amount of time you're given to teach is very limited. But I would have to say that somethings I am learning from this is 1) It is So much harder to coach and stand on the sidelines then running your butt off and 2) The rewards from seeing a girl understand a concept that you taught is very rewarding.

School Marks

One of my most impossible goals of my high school career (if you cold call it that) is to get onto the Force Ten. Basically the top ten GPAs/Percent of your grade. It has never been easy for me even to accomplish a 84% but for some reason I think this is my year. Even though I know some of the smartest people in Rick Hansen I have always wanted to try and prove to myself that I could almost compete with the top grades. Maybe a big help for me this year is that I do not have a very social life so I have more time to study and to work on my homework. So right now as I am sitting here, I have 99% in Band, 90% in Chamber chior, 88% in Senior choir, 90% in Ladies choir, 90% in English, 85% in French and 80% in Math. So my overall percent is...89%, so maybe not this term that I will make it but hopefully the next term. Meaning that I will have to get everything that I am learning and put a lot more effort into the homework.

Canucks

So this season the Canucks are in the playoffs. Its great. To be able to watch a great game, with your favorite team for a longer length of time. So I am thinking what is it that makes the playoffs so much more special for all the players and fans. Maybe its just the fact that its closer in time tothe Stanley Cup or the enjoyment of sitting down as a family cheering for your team. Anyways. So Canucks lost tonight, ya its sad the series are tied but still we made playoffs and its not like we lost the first game so its tied. The Canucks just have to make sure that they don't let another slow game happen like tonight.

Family Easter Dinner

So this easter was one of the most different easters. First off, church was having a 7 AM service that you had the option of going to do, well I went. Mom and I decided that it would be a sunrise service. When we went to drive to church(I got to drive :D) the clouds were out and the sun was no where to be seen. Arriving to church, our family usually has to go way to the back well mother and I got the front parking lot. Very odd. But the service was good, hard to stay awake and there was only about 200 people. Getting home everyone was just getting up. So the day had started. After lunch, Nana and Mom started getting the turkey ready and the kids started doing their own thing. Supper came around and Jennie, Oma and Opa came over. So there was 12 people at this supper. After supper though was the fun part. Decorating cupcakes an the sugar cookies. But see Chris was supposed to have a friend come over but he didn't show up so the whole evening, he was a grump. Decorating the cupcakes Carl got his creative talent and created a monstrosity. LAYERS of candy and icing on two cupcakes. I don't think anyone will eat those not even himself. So now we have two mountains sitting on our table. The easter Egg Hunt: for the little kids it was done inside. It was the first year that the grandkids got to hide for the aunties and well that was good. They just didn't look up! After that it started raining so the grandkid hunt was postponed until tomorrow. And so until then...

Easter!

Ok, so every year around this time people get excited about easter and just finishing spring break, the months are going by quickly. What people don't realize is that in schools the holiday is just a pro-d day. There is nothing special about this one except for the "christian" community. At christmas people think of santa and at easter it's chocolates and the easter bunny but what about the real reason. In church two weeks ago, I learnt something new about easter. Jesus didn't weep in the garden because he was afraid to die on the cross but because of the cup he had to drink. Now while I was listening in church I didn't know what was inside of the cup and I almost brushed the whole cup out of the story. But when I found out the real meaning, I was amazed. It was the cup of sin. He had to drink all of the sins that we in the future would commit. Imagine looking into that cup and seeing hell itself. And the horrible things that would enter his soul. Can you imagine?
